“Dad has a cat” in Centre for Culture in Lublin

29 and 30th of May at 20.00

“Dad has a cat” is a subjective view on the problem of crumbling marriages and children to whom fathers usually lose their natural rights. Despite the masculine point of view, the art of Bogacz is above all … a comedy. Because only through laughter the fathers can tame all this tragically funny fate.

screenplay: Szymon Bogacz; directed by: Łukasz Witt-Michałowski; cast: Arkadiusz Cyran, Dariusz Jeż, Przemysław Sadowski, Jarosław Tomica, Karol Wróblewski; light and sound director: Marcin Kowalczuk.

“A recipe for Leonard Cohen”

30/12/2018 and 01/01/2019
at Centrum Kultury in Lublin

We will present a musical performance by Łukasz Witt-Michałowski telling about the place of isolation of Leonard Cohen and mysterious guests who come there to see him.

Full of new, explorative musical arrangements and unobvious humor of a Canadian bard.

In 1994, Leonard Cohen left the show business and civilization to hide in the Zen monastery at Mount Baldy, California. He became a Zen monk, receiving the Japanese name Jikan. After spending 5 years in a monastery, he abandoned it for a woman.

Body and Mystic – two worlds of Cohen …
