Theatre director, founder of the InVitro Pre-Premiere Stage
Scholar of “Carl zum Aufgehenden Licht” organisation in Frankfurt am Main for students with outstanding capacities and scientific achievements.
He graduated from the Faculty of Cracow Actors Academy (branch in Wrocław)
in 1998 and the Faculty of Theatre direction in Hessische Theaterakademie in Frankfurt am Main in 2004. In Germany he directed Mrożek, Villguista, Gombrowicz.
In 2005 he staged “Tangen”, a presentation on the motives of the “Hunger” by Knut Hamsun at the Witkacy theatre in Zakopane and “The Desert” by Tankred Dorst at the Polish Theatre in Wrocław. For the spectacle “Stones in the pockets”, produced in 2006 he received the Grand Prix of the audience at the festival Conterpoint in Szczecin and the Angel of the audience at the 2nd Spring Theatre Festival in Bielsko-Biała.
In 2009 he received the Golden Badge of the Minister of Justice for his merits in the penitentiary work. He created the theatre project for prisoners “Under the clink” with whom he made the spectacle “Lizystrata”.
For the first spectacle exhibited in the Prapremier InVitro scene – “Nothing Human” – he received a distinction at the 14th National Competition for the exhibition of Polish contemporary art and the first special prize at the 10th National Festival of Theatres Independent in Ostrów Wielkopolski. Art in his direction “last such father” won the main prize in the 15th national competition for the exhibition of Polish Contemporary Art, and the director himself received an individual prize in the same competition; In addition, the presentation received the prize at the 8th Prapremier Festival in Bydgoszcz and the bellows of the jury, the audience Award and a distinction of journalists at the 12th National Festival of Art Reżyserskiej “interpretation” in Katowice. As part of the scene, Prapremier InVitro also directed the performances of “Pool (no Water)” and “bad”, with which he was invited to Mexico and Colombia.
In 2009 and 2010 he was awarded the Mayor of Lublin Prize for the dissemination of culture.
With the Central Theatre in Lublin in 2010 he directed “The Hunger of Hamsun Knut”. Later “The happy death” by Albert Sumac and “Aporia 43” by Artur Pałyga within the InVitro Prapremier Stage and “The Battle of Nangar Khel” by Artur Pałyga at the Polish Theatre in Bielsko-Biała.
In 2013 he staged the performance “Liza” which was qualified for the Polish Theatre touring program in 2014 by the Theatre Institute IM. Zbigniew Raszewskiego.
Scholar of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2015), “Man of the Year” in the plebiscite of the “Dziennik Wschodni” journal (2017).
In the year 2018 he received the artistic award of the mayor of the city of Lublin for the production of the movie-theater project “Rout next Tuesday” based on the novel by Marcin Wronski.
